Not much going on. I finished building my house in Second Life, just need to get me some furnature in there, and I’m also working on my new website https://astinus.net/ (Dead Link) … and I bought an iPod O.O I bought an apple product hides face in shame

It's Been a While

I haven’t tossed up anything here in a long while.

Tired, thats what I am. Tired of work switching my schedule constantly. Work evenings, then mornings, back to evenings… oh, back on mornings again. My body can’t keep up with it.

The “game” I’ve been playing a lot of is Second Life – highly addictive because it’s not a game but a virtual community. Just last night I began building my house there. I’ve put Final Fantasy XI on the back burner for a while, give myself a break. I leveled myself to 38 Dragoon, but had to set it aside before I go crazy. I still have to level my Samurai which is only level 10. So, I’ll have to head back to the Dunes and Qufim and… and… the jungles near Kazham. Shudder … With all that work ahead of me, I’m enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of Second Life.

I just got my hands on a box-set of Cowboy Bebop, that’ll give me something to do for a while. Other than talking to Nina on the telephone, playing Final Fantasy XI… Star Wars Galaxies, and working. I don’t do much.

And with that, I go back into hiding.

I believe I am being punished for something I’ve done in life… maybe in my past. Why else would I be forced to go to work at 8 in the morning. 8! Thats 4 hours before my normal wake up time of noon.

sigh

I guess I should look at the bright side, this gives me from about 4pm to midnight to do whatever on Final Fantasy XI! KA~Ching! Now I am just waiting for Ashlie to get on there, it’ll give me a chance to start leveling with someone I know… since Nina has jumped to level 34 (must be nice ^^)

No Sleep

So, it’s 7:02am… and I haven’t slept all night… whats worse is that I am going to be at work in 58 minutes!

So what kept me up all night? That’s a very goood question, and it’s one I can’t answer. I was on Final Fantasy XI until about midnight. I loged off pretty much at that time. I went down stairs and played Grand Theft Auto III on the XBox for a bit, watched G4TV, and now here I am.

My Big Big Move

In 1 or 2 weeks, I’ll be leaving the United States for Germany. I will not be off the internet for too long (only for the plane trip over, and maybe a few extra days after that), however, there are a few things I will no longer be able to do. One of them is Ch@b ID’s… I will no longer be able to submit Ch@b ID’s for Dreamcast users.

I’m sitting here in Virginia (well, I’m at my uncles, so really I’m in Maryland), and just wanted to say hi. I’m having with-draws from the internet and can not wait to get home this weekend. I think I’ve figured out how to extract the icons from the VMS files for Dreamserv… … I know it isn’t an important thing, but I always thought having those icons that appear in the Dreamcast VMU Manager would be a cool thing to have on the site.
